Great food and good portions! Their online ordering for pickup works well, and the food was ready early, which was nice. Overall recommend

I have really been craving Chinese American food and have had a few misses on my search for a "good spot". I ordered a combination platter of sesame chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. After waiting for 10 minutes, my food was handed to me piping hot! The rice was a touch undercooked and didn't carry much flavor. I didn't care because... rice. The sesame chicken was hilariously offered to me as general tso's until the woman at the front desk sprinkled sesame seeds on top. The chicken was hot (temperature) and crispy. One would also say that the dark meat was overcooked. However, since I have a textural sensitivity, I prefer chicken a bit tough and stringy (that way my brain confirms it's cooked through). The sauce was thick and sweet but not overwhelming. The dish wasn't overly sauced either. I appreciated the fact that it was not greasy. I actually really just wanted the egg roll that was toastier than I'm used to but was delicious nonetheless. Generally a good portion. Not overly flavorful but also not bland. Served hot. I was satisfied.

I can honestly say this was the freshest Chinese food I've had in a very long time. I ordered a half fried chicken and Singapore Chow Mei Fun without pork. I had ordered over $20 and was entitled to a soda or egg roll. The nice lady on the phone said, "Since you don't want pork, I'll give you a shrimp roll." I appreciated that because she didn't have to make the exchange. My food was delivered quickly, and the delivery guy was pleasant. There is a Chinese restaurant that is closer to me, but I will be ordering from Sun Wah from now on. I didn't give 5 because they forgot my chopsticks, and there is a delivery charge plus a reusable bag charge. Nonetheless, the food was delicious!!! I just may order tonight

I ordered the Singapore mei fun and it was very delicious. You could tell that it wasn't too oily like other places do it which was a huge factor. Service is very fast and the people are friendly. Will be coming back today.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. I recommend their fried chicken with fries or fried plantains, or the General Tso's chicken and the Singapore Mei Fun noodles; plus the staff is very friendly and the service is fast.

The food is great but the lady that runs the place always acts like her dog just died. Also, her toddlers are always there doing homework.

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant right now. I drive from Newark to Kearny just for take out. The food is always fresh. The place is clean, and most importantly the food is yum.
